1 Night 2 Days Cappadocia Tour
Cappadocia is a unique legacy of the volcanic landscape created by Erciyes, Güllü and Hasan Mountains around 60 million years ago. The character of the region is formed by the ashy and soft layer of rocks emanating from these mountains, patiently eroded by wind and rainwater over millions of years. But the real magic of this natural sculpture lies in the stories of thousands of years of life inside the fairy chimneys carved by the touch of human hands.
The Heart of History and Trade
Cappadocia, one of the most fascinating open-air museums not only in Turkey but in the whole world, is located in Nevşehir in the Central Anatolia Region. Its history dates back to ancient times when it was home to many great civilizations. Due to its location on an important trade route, it was subjected to attacks from time to time, which pushed the people of the region to creative solutions. This is why Cappadocia is home to amazing and intricate underground cities.
The Secret of the Delight: Anatolian Cuisine Cooked in Jugs

After our arrival in the region, we have the opportunity to go up to the Valley of Love and watch the balloons at sunrise and record this magnificent view that adorns dreams with our photos and videos. Then we take a breakfast break, make our final preparations for our tour and start the day. Guests who want to ride balloons and experience this experience can get information from our guide.
Göreme and Güvercinlik Valley
We continue our tour with the Goreme Open Air Museum, where we see pre-Christian burial chambers on the rocks. In Göreme Open Air Museum, we can see many small and large churches, monk's refectories, burial chambers, cellars and cellars, and we can explore the church architecture from the VIIth to the XIIth century in the monasteries in the museum area. Then we go to Güvercinlik valley, named after the pigeon nests carved into the rocks. The people of the region fed these pigeons until the 9th century and used their dung in the vineyards and their eggs in the plaster of the friezes. We can also photograph Uchisar Castle from here.
Paşabağları Open Air Museum and Lunch
We continue our tour with the Paşabağları Open Air Museum. This area, formerly called the 'Valley of the Priests' and today called Paşabağları, is covered with unique fairy chimneys. Some of the multi-stemmed and multi-headed fairy chimneys have chapels and sitting places carved into them. One of the three-headed fairy chimneys has a chapel and hermitage cell built in the name of St. Simeon. After this visit, we take a break to have our optional open buffet lunch.
Onyx Stone Workshop and Devrent Valley
Stones have had a great influence on the daily life of Cappadocia since ancient times. Another area where stone is used besides housing, places of worship and architecture is the production of ornaments. Onyx stone, which is especially dense around Hacıbektaş, is in yellow, pink, red and white colors. There are also varieties containing more than one color called veined stone. Onyx stone, on which various motifs are embroidered and shaped, is used to make personal ornaments and home accessories. During our visit to the stone workshop, we get more information about these beautiful stones and then we move on to Devrent Valley.
Three Beauties and Pottery Workshop
According to the story, in Cappadocia, the fairy sultan's beautiful daughter fell in love with a shepherd. Despite all the obstacles of the fairy sultan, she ran away with the shepherd and they got married. In time they also had a child. When the fairy sultan heard this news, he became even more angry and sent his soldiers to find the shepherd and his daughter. When the daughter of the fairy sultan saw the soldiers coming towards them from afar, she prayed to God not to separate her and her family from each other. As the story goes, her wish was granted and the three of them turned into three beautiful fairy chimneys and stayed together forever.
With this story, we photograph the Three Beauties and go to the pottery workshop where we learn about pottery making and get to know the culture and lifestyle of the region more closely. We can buy pottery made in different shapes to suit all our needs.

During the Roman and Byzantine periods, Kaymaklı was expanded by carving other areas and turned into an underground city, carved into the tuff rocks. There are rooms and halls connected to each other by narrow corridors, wine storages, water cellars, kitchen and supply storages, ventilation shafts, water wells, a church and large bolt stones that close the door from the inside to prevent any danger from the outside. Today, Kaymaklı Underground City welcomes its visitors with its four floors illuminated.
