NEW YEAR'S EVE BATUM & TBILISI TOUR
3 NIGHTS, 4 DAYS
DAY 1 | TRABZON - BATUM
Our tour departs from Trabzon at 1:00 PM. After meeting our guests at the agreed-upon locations, we head toward the Sarp Border Crossing. After a journey of approximately 2.5 hours, we arrive at the Sarp Border Crossing. Following the border formalities, we enter Georgia and, after a short stop to exchange currency, head to downtown Batumi. Upon arrival in Batumi, we begin our city tour. We’ll see Piazza Square, Europe Square, the Medea Statue, and the Poseidon Statue; then, in the coastal area, we’ll visit the Ali and Nino Statue and the Alphabet Tower. For those who wish, we’ll take a boat tour along the Batumi coastline, offering the chance to view the city’s modern architecture from the water. After the tour, we’ll head to our hotel in Batumi, check into our rooms, and have some free time in the city.
DAY 2 | BATUMI - MTSKHETA - TBILISI
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out of our rooms and head toward Tbilisi. Continuing our journey, we arrive in Mtskheta, one of Georgia’s most historically and culturally significant regions. First, we’ll visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—in the city center of Mtskheta, Georgia’s former capital; we’ll then have free time to stroll through the historic streets and shop for souvenirs. Following our visit to Mtskheta, we continue our journey toward Tbilisi. Upon arrival in Tbilisi, we check into our hotel in the city center. In the evening, guests who wish to do so can explore the city’s Christmas markets and illuminated streets. For those interested, we’ll also participate in a Georgian Night event, where we’ll have the opportunity to experience Georgian culture, music, and traditional dances up close over dinner. After the program, we return to our hotel and have free time.
DAY 3 | TBILISI CITY TOUR
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our full-day Tbilisi city tour. First, we’ll visit the Monument to the History of Georgia and enjoy the view of the Tbilisi Sea from the same spot. Then, we’ll proceed to Sameba Cathedral, one of the city’s most important religious landmarks. Afterward, we’ll visit the Antique Market and the Painting Market, where Georgian artists display their works. We’ll take a short ride on the historic Tbilisi Metro to Freedom Square; after seeing the St. George Statue there, we’ll have free time for lunch. After lunch, we continue our tour with a stop at the Tbilisi Clock Tower—notable for its small clock detail—and then head to the Bridge of Peace. From there, we take the cable car up to Narikala Hill; while viewing the statue of Kartlis Deda, known as the “Georgian Mother,” we enjoy panoramic views of Tbilisi. Afterward, guests who wish to do so can join us for a roughly half-hour boat tour on the Kura River. After our city tour, we return to the hotel to rest. On New Year’s Eve, we give our guests free time in the city center. You can visit the Christmas markets, experience Tbilisi’s New Year’s atmosphere, or make your own plans for the evening.
DAY 4: TBILISI – TRABZON
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out of our rooms and begin our return journey from Tbilisi to Trabzon. Stopping as needed along the way for rest and breaks, we’ll travel via Batumi to the Sarp Border Crossing. Once we’ve completed border crossing procedures between Georgia and Turkey, we’ll head toward Trabzon. Upon our arrival in Trabzon, we’ll conclude our 3-night, 4-day New Year’s Batumi & Tbilisi tour, hoping to see you again soon.
